A transistor is fired playing a video game. For an instant, the
semiconductor forgets that it is doped silicon and becomes a seeker in
the video game for a princess of legend. But the virtual hero's life
counts drops to zero; the princess never saved, the transistor
remembers with fathomless sadness that it is just a circuit component
in a complex myriad of electronics. But for one moment, there was the
illusion of truth.
