The Puppy That Nobody Wanted

Once upon a time there was a family whose dog had puppies.
Everyone in the family got a puppy.
The dad got a puppy.
The mom got a puppy.
The son got a puppy.
But one puppy was left over.
It was the puppy that nobody wanted.
So they took it out and got rid of it.
"Let's put it in the ditch," the son said.
So the puppy walked for a long long time in the ditch.
He was too short to get out and the ditch was too narrow to turn around.
"What have we here?" said a clown.
He picked the puppy out of the ditch.
"A puppy, eh?" said the clown, "I don't know what to do with puppies."
"Let's punch him in the face," said Clown, Jr.
So they punched the puppy in the face.
A lady said, "That's awful.  Punching a puppy in the face."
"Okay, we'll stop," said the clown,
"If you give us five dollars."
The lady did.  This gave the clown an idea.
The clown and Clown, Jr. walked up and down the boardwalk with the puppy.
The clown cried out, "If you don't give us five dollars we'll punch this puppy in the face."
The puppy got hit alot.
Until a polilceman caught the clown so he threw the puppy in a garbage can.
The puppy that nobody wanted had all sorts of other adventures.
Like getting almost eaten by an alligator.
Almost being run over by a van.
And almost being made into a fur coat by the Chinese.
But no one ever wanted to be his friend.
The sad and lonely puppy wandered into a hospital. There he found a sick boy.
They became best friends.
"I love you, puppy," said the sick boy.
And they both died.
